I don’t have enough time!!! Arggg!!
Are you experiencing similar rants?
Having difficulty spreading your precious time over too many
tasks?
tasks?
It’s hellish, isn’t it?
I used to think if I organized my day better, planned ahead, then magically I’d find hours left over. ahhh – not so much!
I try and keep up with my Triber group every day because
they matter and have supported me in the past. Then there’s all my twitter
friends who I never seem to be able to spend enough time with. Of course the
blogs need to get out. And even though there are times when I just can’t get
them written, I really do try and have new content as often as possible.

Networking has to take some precedence. I mean these are
friends. Many have become good friends. So ignoring my e-mails is unthinkable. But
I do admit that some days I steal my heart and delete many without opening,
mostly loops that I used to enjoy and now have no time for. We won’t even mention facebook and goodreads. Places I’d love to be able to browse. Damnation!

It’s so sad, but what’s a girl to do? The books have to get
written. The editing has to get done, formatting, promoting, and – and…

Prioritize Right?
Sigh……….right!
Anyone else have the same trouble? Have you come up with any ideas that might help…share…please!!!

As I read your blog I found myself saying 'i know, I know', having spent hours already catching up with FB, Goodreads, email and Twitter friends, when all the time I should be editing the sequel to my first book. So good to realise I'm not alone in this time-starved world.
So yes, prioritize. Now! Oh look, it's not raining – must take the dog a walk!
All the best with your writing.

Haha! Love Judith's comment about taking the dog for a walk! Yep, I am right where you are and I haven't even popped into facebook yet this morning. In fact I just spent the lst hour and a half writing one blog post! It was a long one :-)so I'm going to hold off on the other I was going to post. Ahhh tomorrow. 🙂 And now I've got to go to the grocery store, so final edits will have to wait for a couple more hours.
Hope you have a great day and relax, it will still be here later!
Ladies, you've restored my faith in the old adage…nobody's perfect. Pets getting their exercise certainly comes before edits, so does touching friends and spending more time with husbands. And shopping – hey – we gotta eat!! Thank you – I'm feeling much better now…
(Mimi – who feels that a nice wig can cover the bald spots from where she'd pulled her hair out….)
So glad it's not just me who thinks there just aren't enough hours in the day! My alarm clock is getting set earlier and earlier with each passing week… roll on getting to the end of these edits! x
