As an indie author, I understand how hard it can be
to find time for promotion and also how expensive it can be. I started offering
promotional services as a way to help struggling indie authors be able to
afford promotional services. There are a number of similar businesses out
there, but many are just there to take your money and slap your book on their
website. That’s not what I’m about. I honestly care about what the author
wants, how much they can afford, and giving them the most bang for their buck.
That’s why I offer prices that are well below my competitors. For me, it’s more
about helping other authors succeed than anything else.

First of all, I’m an avid
reader and find time wherever I can to read. It might be while I make dinner or
while sitting in the car waiting for my boyfriend to get off work. If I have a

Do you find it hard to promote a genre
you don’t like?
I always do my best to promote books knowing that
not all tastes are the same. I, too, am an indie author and understand that
some people may not like the genre I write in. With that said, I take it one
book at a time and promote the book so that it shines for those that are
interested in that genre. I do this by making sure to choose hashtags that will
put the book in front of the right readers and by pinning the book to the right
boards on Pinterest.

How many new followers do you get each
week when you’re so active on social media?
It’s honestly hard to say. I don’t pay close attention
to the numbers, but the numbers are always rising. There are currently 5600
Facebook fans and 2100 Twitters followers.

What’s your favorite part of the job? Is
it the reading, the promoting, meeting new people or something else entirely?
My absolute favorite part of the job is hearing how
the authors benefited from the promotion. When I hear things like, “My
book sales tripled” or “I’ve sold 7000+ copies since you started
promoting my book!” I feel wonderful. It honestly means something to me to
be helping fellow authors make their dreams come true. I want people to succeed
when they purchase my services.

My dream is for women young and old to be able to
come to the website and find books they enjoy. That’s why I work hard to
