Man oh man; it’s been a while since I touched base with you all. I’m sorry, but I do have a good reason. Seems there was a thingy growing in the back of my skull, a meningioma that the doctors couldn’t wait to get their chubby little gloved fingers on. I finally let them have their fun on the 6th of July. Spent a few days in the ICU – never tasted ice cream so good, then began whining on the 9th and they kicked my overweight derriere outta there that morning.
Whereupon, I begged the kids to take me straight to the closest Denny’s, and they bought me actual breakfast food and not the goop they served up in the hospital. Today, the stitches are gone, my hair has grown over them and the moon-shaped baldness is no more. I’m back to normal – a better normal because my balance is so much better, no more headaches, and I remember everything.
Special Agent Hunter – my newest Undercover FBI book came to my mind as they wheeled me into the operating room, and when they called my name after the operation, it was one of the first things to come back to me. Between us, I had been kind of fearful that they might have slipped just slightly and messed with certain veins, and I’d never be me again. Goofy thinking we all do at times like that – you know – the maybe’s, could be’s, and what-ifs. But thanks to loved ones, and dear friends from above watching over me, I came out with all my memories, and Special Agent Hunter is being written as we speak.
I was blessed during this time when so many haven’t been, and it’s humbling. I’m so sorry for those still in hospital and thankful for the folks who – like me – were released and still have their lives to live.
Big hugs and special words – be safe, kind and calm.

I’m so glad you came out of this traumatic event and seem fully recovered! {{hugs}}
Thanks, Jacquie. I’m better than better actually. It’s one of those situations where after the fact you say – I should have done that a long time ago rather than go through what I did for no reason. LOL!! Thanks for reaching out… xo
