Have you ever done something you thought you wouldn’t like to do, but to help a friend, you decided… what the heck… I’ll give it a try?
That’s kind of my situation when Denise Devine, one of the other authors in our group “the Authors’ Billboard”, asked me to send a submission for her new cozy mystery collection.
I’ve never written that genre before. The only thing I’ve done that even comes close is my romantic suspense novels. And those are rather gritty (language-wise), they delve into various conflicts besides murder, and of course the love scenes add a racy level in an otherwise whodunit story.
But, I’m usually up for a challenge, and so I began plotting to bump off a shoe store owner in the small town’s mall close to where I live. Overcharge me and see what happens…hehe!!
Know what??
It was a hoot. I tried my hardest to make every possible suspect so guilty that near the end of the story, I didn’t have any idea who the killer was until I reread the book… and there was the perfect culprit.
MURDER IN THE MALL is on sale now on AMAZON: http://mybook.to/murderinthemall

p.s. I’d love to know if you had as much trouble as I did in guessing the killer. Send me a message on my Facebook page or email me at mimibarbour66@gmail.com
