As the world knows, Christmas is the time to be with family and friends and relish their companionship and love. Every year, I look forward to this season like a child who still believes in Santa Claus.
And though, in my own family, we’ve had two very sad events happen in 2018, I can still say with truth and a few tears, I will bless this holiday that’s bringing my family to me. We’ll enjoy some good laughs, good food and fun gifts and… make every minute count that we’re together.
Really, isn’t that what this life is all about. As my late husband used to say – Life is for Living – don’t waste even a minute. He understood this even as his time grew near. Maybe more.
I’ll certainly follow his thoughtful advice. And I’m praying you’ll follow it too.
From my heart to yours, my home to yours…
Have a VERY merry Christmas.
Hugs, Mimi

My Christmas gift to you. Free until the 27th…

A senseless accident happens that puts Jenni’s ten-year-old son in a wheelchair while the rebellious girl who instigates the incident, shows anger rather than remorse. When it becomes imperative that the two be home-schooled, her bachelor father steps forward with his teaching degree and his appealing gray eyes, asking Jenni to let him teach both children.
Being a single mom who has to work, his request would certainly solve the problem of where her son could be educated until the New Year. But can she let her boy spend weeks with this dysfunctional family.
Chris finally gets custody of his daughter to find out that she hates the very sight of him. How can a man break through those barriers? Could the boy help – him and his new puppy… and the smart, beautiful woman he calls Mom.
