I think having the first book FREE is probably a lure for the readers. And having the wonderful reviews that this book has collected really helps.
I know when I first started to write Retaliation, I truly fell in love with our heroine, Cassidy Santino. I totally enjoyed watching her grow stronger, discover the humor she previously didn’t have the nerve to reveal and discover the fighter that, until now, she never knew existed. Not until she sees the mob kill her twin. The horrible night when she freezes and doesn’t stop the heartbreaking murder from happening. That’s the last time she lets her fear override her will.
From that moment on, she slowly begins to change until she becomes the strong woman every one of us wishes we could be.
After taking a bullet for her, gorgeous Detective Trace McGuire can’t stop himself from caring. Then he sees her fight. And realizes there’s much more to the shy woman he first met.
